About Our Teachers:

Our teachers hold Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate of Music degrees (McGill, Berklee and University of Toronto amongst others) or the equivalent based on the Canada Council for the Arts standards. Some of our teachers have also been nominated for Juno and Grammy awards, performed with Grammy award winning artists such as Bobby McFerrin, and played main arts centres with major orchestras such as the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, as well as performing at Jazz Festivals in Canada, the United States, and internationally.

In addition, every member of our faculty is selected based on intensive interview processes. Canada Music Academy teachers are hand picked from across the country, based on guidelines which include education, experience and a positive, solid commitment to music education.
