Biography:

A Certified CMA teacher, we were thrilled to have Evgeny join our staff of dedicated teachers in 2012. Evgeny has been teaching privately since 1997, and has been a truly welcome addition to our team.

Evgeny studied Jazz and Classical guitar and modern music arrangement at one of the leading musical institutions in Russia – Moscow State College of Jazz and Stage Arts (Former Gnesina). After 4 years of studies he received a Bachelor of Music degree. He pursued a career in music for several years combining it with studies of audio recording and editing at St. Peterburg State University of Motion Picture and Television (SPbGUKIT) to become a studio professional with 7 years of experience.


Evgeny has taught guitar since his student years at the college. He has many years of experience performing on electric guitar, bass. He is comfortable teaching various styles and concepts in Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Rock, Blues. In the teaching process he especially focuses on the importance of rhythm, ear training, improvisation and composition skills.

Evgeny teaches his students taking their own interests into account while giving them the theoretical and technical basis as well as inspiration for musical achievements.
