Biography:

Certified Canada Music Academy teacher since 2016.

Chris' teaching style is informal and student focused, letting you decide what you want to study and at what pace.

Chris completed his Bachelor of Music at Humber College in 2010 before embarking on an extensive professional career as a performer. He spent 5 years with the Lemon Bucket Orkestra, and performed in over 10 European countries, as well as Korea and the United States. He is also in high demand as a freelance musician, and has appeared on 13 albums by Toronto artists in the last 5 years.

His wide variety of musical interests means he can teach a large range of styles. If you want to learn advanced Jazz, Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, or Balkan/Klezmer playing, Chris is the teacher for you. His goal is finding what makes music special for YOU, and focusing on that. He believes that no matter how complex the style or challenging the piece, playing music should always make you feel alive and happy. With Chris as your teacher, you will discover how to be inspired by yourself, learn the secrets of the pros, and wake up excited to play music every day.
