She is currently finishing a BA Specialization in Music at the University of Ottawa and has aspirations to teach music and biology at the high school level. In 2011, Jenna founded the acapella choir at the University of Ottawa and remains the President and the primary Musical Director and Arranger for the group.

Jenna is qualified to teach a classical and pop piano up to an advanced level, flute and saxophone up to the intermediate level, and guitar, voice (pop) and ukulele at the beginner level. Having an excellent ear herself, Jenna places a strong emphasis on the ability to be well ear trained for all instrument.

Music has always played a large role in Jenna’s life and has helped her cope with adverse circumstances. She carries a great talent and strong passion for the joy that music brings and hopes to share that passion with all of her students. She wishes to unlock potential that students may not even know they had, as well as guide them into the best possible music instruction. She is a kind, caring, gentle individual who is very approachable and listens carefully to her students’ needs.

Within her studio apartment, Jenna has recording equipment and knowledge of audio production. She is happy to record her students on their request so that they may feel accomplished about their work and share it to others.
