Certified Academy Teachers are professional musicians holding Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degrees in music or their equivalents as defined by the Canada Council for the Arts. In addition to meeting our high professional standards, Certified Academy Teachers must also undergo a full, selective interview process.

Since 1995, we have grown into one of the largest music schools in Canada, attracting a highly qualified, diverse staff. Our teachers are University professors and lecturers as well as young, dynamic, professional musicians. We maintain our standards of excellence through ongoing feedback and support, as well as annual teacher reviews. With these processes in place, we strive to maintain the highest possible standards available in music schools today.

Professional Musicians. Our teachers have worked with organizations such as the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and the Montreal Jazz Festival and have performed alongside artists such as Oscar Peterson, Elvis Costello, Celine Dion, Blue Rodeo, James Blunt and, Cornielle. Our teachers have also performed at venues such as the Bell Center, Place des Arts, Casino de Montreal and have been broadcast nationally and internationally on stations such as CBC Radio Canada, Global TV, Mix 96 & Chom FM.
